Mulwala Medical Centre + Skin Clinic is a private billing facility.

Any fees for your consultation are payable at the time of your visit. Payment can be made by cash, cheque, eftpos or credit card.

If your visit is claimable on Medicare we can submit your claim online, at the time of your visit.

We offer private rates, concession (Healthcare card and pension card holders) rates and bulk billing for Veteran’s Affairs card holders only.

For an emergency or after hours care – please dial 000 or present to your nearest hospital.

Our GP’s are able to provide after hours telephone advice Monday – Friday from 6pm - 11pm, please phone 03 5744 2306 to access these services.

Yarrawonga Health provides after hours care for urgent needs at the Urgent Care Centre Address: 33 Piper Street, Yarrawonga Phone: (03) 5743 81111.

Our closest Accident and Emergency Department is at: North East Health, Wangaratta (Green Street Wangaratta – Phone: (03) 5722 5111).

North East Health Wangaratta may assist by providing after hours support to our GP’s and nursing staff in Yarrawonga.

Patients seen in our clinic within the last 12 months are eligible for Telehealth appointments by phone. 

The standard fee for medical consultations applies according to our existing billing structure.

Our practice team can arrange home visits by doctors under specific circumstances where it is safe and appropriate. 

This service is intended for patients who are physically unable to attend the clinic [those who are confined due to illness or disability, or to reduce the risk of infection].

During urgent walk-in presentations, our staff will follow the MMC+SC Triage System Policy + Procedure.

Appointments are set for a duration of 15 minutes.

Please inform our reception team in securing an extended appointment, if you believe you require additional time with your doctor.

We recognise the importance of seeing your preferred doctor; however, occasionally, this may not be feasible. In such situations, you’ll have the opportunity to book with another doctor.

For ongoing care with your chosen doctor, we advise reaching out to schedule routine appointments as early as possible. 

While we strive to minimise wait periods, certain consultations may take longer than anticipated. The MMC+SC reception is always available to inform you of any expected delays.
